U.S. 11 Antique Alley Always the four-day weekend after Mother's Day
in May, a 502-mile festive roadside sale will be held on U.S. Highway 11
from Meridian, Mississippi through Birmingham, Alabama, and towns in Dade
County, Georgia, then Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Knoxville, Tennessee, and
on to Bristol, Virginia. The event, "U.S. 11 Antique Alley," will be
celebrated in each county up and down the US 11 corridor. Each town along
the route will plan its own events, as festivals, antique sales, flea
markets and yard sales, carnivals, etc., and many other activities to be
held in conjunction with the "Happening."

US 80 HI-WAY SALE Some 374 miles on Historic US 80 from Mesquite,
Texas through Louisiana to Vicksburg, MS. will once again be lined with
goods in a yard sale format for one weekend in October
GREAT U.S. 50 YARD SALE The eighth annual Great U.S. 50 Yard Sale will
be held Friday-Sunday, May 18-20, 2007. The yard sale started in 2000,
stretching across most of Indiana. The goal is for it to grow into a
Coast-to-Coast event held each year on the weekend before the Memorial Day
weekend. The Great U.S. 50 Yard Sale also serves to promote tourism along
U.S. 50, to unite the many diverse communities, to provide opportunities for
fund raising by civic organizations, to aid the environment through
recycling, and to serve as an opportunity for individuals to enjoy a great
weekend of sales.
Historic US 40 Yard Sale 4th Annual Historic US 40 Yard Sale Businesses
and Individuals along the Historic National Road in Indiana are eagerly
anticipating the third annual Dawn to Dusk Yard Sale! This event will be
held along Historic US 40 (aka Antique Alley in Indiana) from Baltimore to
St. Louis from May 30 through June 3, 2007.
Highway 70 Yard Sale Area shoppers, yard sale participants and shop
owners will all assemble along Highway 70 this summer to participate in the
“Highway 70 Yard Sale” that will stretch roughly 200 miles from Memphis to
Nashville and right through Dickson County.
Route 66 Garage Sale Spans about 400 miles along Oklahoma's historic
Route 66, which now has different route numbers depending on where you are,
from Quapaw to Texola. Historic U.S. 66, also known as the Mother Road, went
from Chicago to Los Angeles. 2006 is first year of sale.
